Introducing Tom Wandless

John K Miln & Co Ltd is proud of its links with all three armed services. We have been giving financial advice to service personnel for over 24 years.

Tom Wandless spent 18 years in the Royal Navy serving on many different Warships and 12 years flying at RNAS Culdrose in Helston Cornwall.

Tom regularly visits Royal Navy, Army and RAF bases around the country when clients need a face-to-face meeting to conduct full reviews. We can also conduct client reviews over the telephone and via e-mail.

John K Miln & Company are members of SIIAP (Services, Insurance & Investment Advisory Panel). SIIAP is a panel of authorised Insurance and Independent Investment Advisors which is recognised by the Ministry of Defence. Only members of SIIAP are allowed to advise Armed Service personnel on Military Establishments. Members of SIIAP operate within a strict code of practice.

Many service clients of John K Miln & Company decide on a second career after leaving the service and, because of our size and our commitment to our clients, we continue to advise these clients in many parts of the country. We also have clients who have moved abroad and, with modern technology and communications, we can keep in touch through e-mail and we are able to advise clients as we would in a face-to-face meeting. So, even after leaving, you do not have to change your point of contact. The relationship can still continue.

Tom can arrange to meet with clients at either their place of work, at home or at our offices in Falmouth. We can give generic and specific advice to Service clients covering investments, pensions and life assurance. For advice on mortgages we will introduce you to a specialist adviser. We have negotiated special terms with leading life companies in respect of life cover for military personnel and, more importantly, aircrew will not normally receive a loading for service or personal flying.
